A Baldwin Wallace University economics professor and
four students conducted summer research in China as recipients of a 2013
ASIANetwork Freeman Student-Faculty Fellows grant, an award given to
only 13 schools across the U.S.
Xudong Chen, associate professor of
economics, led four students to
Fuzhou, Xiamen, Shanghai and
Beijing.
The experience enabled them to advance their research skills,
learn firsthand about Asia, and foster intercultural appreciation.
