BW Baseball Player is Top Academic All-American

Brendan Toughey '13 of East Amherst, N.Y. is the 2013 CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American of the Year in the sport of baseball. The award recognizes the most outstanding student-athlete in all of Division III baseball and is the final honor in one of the most celebrated careers by a student-athlete in Yellow Jacket history.  

Toughey, who has a 3.92 grade point average in BW's 3/2 Master's of Accounting program, is the 84th BW student-athlete to receive CAPITAL ONE Academic All-America honors since the program's inception in 1970.  BW has produced more CAPITAL ONE Academic All-Americans than any other Ohio Athletic Conference institution and is among the Division III leaders.
