Senior Composition Major Wins CPT Fellowship

Baldwin Wallace composition major Sean Hussey '14 has been selected as one of three inaugural winners of the Cleveland Public Theatre Kulas Composer Fellows for the spring of 2014.

According to CPT, "The Kulas Foundation Theatre Composer Initiative is a three month fellowship program providing emerging, early-career composers with first-hand experience creating music... for at least one full production in CPT's Season."

Hussey's "haunting chants" (The Plain Dealer) and "emotionally involving" (Cool Cleveland) music have been played throughout the Midwest, primarily in the Cleveland area. Inspired by movement and dance, Hussey currently is collaborating with Inlet Dance Theatre as a composer and dancer.
